Bruce Woolf: 30 years of experience in Shaitsu & Thai Massage
I am a therapist of Traditional Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage, holistic hands-on modalities rooted in Eastern bodywork. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Bodywork Educator trained in Japan and the United States.
Each treatment is tailored to your specific needs. Injuries, chronic pain, imbalances, range of motion, and general well-being are all taken into careful account prior to and during the session. Both Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage are practiced on a specially designed low table. Individual comfort needs are met with the addition of purpose-made cushions. The client is clothed as massage oils are not used. It is recommended to wear or bring comfortable clothing for the session.
The physical and mental benefits of Shiatsu are multifaceted. The focus is on "Ki" (energy) and facilitating its movement through the body. Shiatsu and Thai Yoga Massage are helpful in reducing stress, including work-related and sports injuries.
